Covering Baltics, Belarus in COVID-19 Crisis

  • March 16, 2020

Coronavirus has brought international correspondence into new territory, but the news cannot stop. We journalists in the Baltic States know that many of you have been impacted by COVID-19.

The fixers.press agency is here to support and help each and every one of you in any way that we can.

To this end, we have united into several local crews in Vilnius, Riga, Tallinn, and Minsk and are ready to cover the news as it unfolds, to conduct interviews on the ground, to make audio reports and to film for you. The crews, which are all made up of experienced local journalists, researchers, and fully equipped videographers, are ready to work in the field on the same day that you contact us.

Over the past few weeks, we have been assisting newsrooms and documentary producers covering the region under travel restrictions. As all three Baltic States of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania seal their borders for international travellers, we journalists must adapt quickly.

This is something that we could never have imagined, but if there’s anything that you need that we can help you with, or if you have any ideas for solutions or collaborations to help you cover the region, please let us know. Whether you’re a freelance journalist, a production company or a newsroom editor, we are ready to help keep you on track.
