Marian Männi is a journalist based in Tallinn, Estonia. She writes about social issues, national security, and politics. She has lived in Australia, Spain, Denmark, Germany, France, and the Netherlands, and has an M.A. in Media and Globalization from Hamburg University. Marian is now a staff writer for an investigative weekly newspaper Eesti Ekspress. She was selected as the U.S. Department of State fellow and did her short-term traineeship at Miami Herald in spring 2016. She was awarded with the Estonia’s top journalism prize in 2016.
Dionizas Litvaitis is a freelance journalist and researcher based in Vilnius & Kaunas, Lithuania. He lived in Germany, U.S., and Hungary, and has an M.A. in Political Science from Central European University. Since 2012 he is working with international news media and freelance reporters coming to Lithuania and Russia. Previously, he was the science communication manager at various educational institutions and took part in media and research projects including Cafebabel.co.uk, City Re:Searchers, and Zooetics. His latest project is a conference “Congress on Public Spaces”.
Ilya Kozin is a radio journalist based in Riga, Latvia. He studied communication science in Latvian University and attended journalism courses in Magdeburg-Stendal school of applied sciences in Germany. Since 2014 he is a news reporter for Latvian public broadcaster – Latvian Radio. Ilya is covering a variety of topics – international affairs, social policy, economy, transit & logistics etc. In 2016 together with 6 other Latvian journalists he took part in large investigative project “Twilight Zone of psychiatry”. In spring of 2017 he was a guest journalist in Germany’s public international broadcaster – Deutsche Welle.
